Building an agency takes months. Losing one takes a single bad decision. These are the seven violations we see most often — and every one of them is completely avoidable.
1. Fake recharge and coin manipulation
This is the number one agency killer. "Fake recharge" schemes — buying coins through unofficial resellers, self-gifting loops between accounts, or laundering coins between hosts — are detected by the platform's systems sooner or later. The penalty is usually a permanent ban of the whole agency, with all pending earnings forfeited. No shortcut is worth your entire income.
2. Sharing your account or OTP
Nobody legitimate will ever ask for your password or OTP — not us, not "Poppo support," nobody. Scammers pose as officials, take over agency accounts, and drain the wallets. Enable every security option the app offers, and if anyone asks for your OTP, block them.
3. Running multiple agency accounts
One person, one agency. Creating duplicate agencies under family members' names to farm invitation bonuses looks clever until the platform links the devices and bans everything. If you want to scale, use the sub-agent system — that's exactly what it's for, and it's fully allowed.
4. Letting hosts go silently inactive
Not an instant ban, but the slow death of agencies. Falling below 5 active hosts or having your hosts consistently miss the ~10 hours/week streaming target drops your commission tier and can eventually get the agency delisted. Check your host activity every week, not at month end.
5. Ignoring content rules
You're responsible for what your hosts stream. Vulgar content, gambling promotion, and anything illegal doesn't just get the host banned — repeat incidents reflect on the agency that manages them. Set expectations with every host during onboarding, in writing.
6. Promising hosts fake salaries
Some agents recruit by promising fixed monthly "salaries" that don't exist. The host joins, earns based on actual performance, feels cheated, and reports the agent. Beyond destroying your reputation, misrepresentation complaints can trigger a platform review of your agency. Show real numbers and let the platform's genuine earning potential do the selling.
7. Paying someone for "approval"
Agent registration is free. Anyone charging a "registration fee," "approval fee," or "activation charge" is scamming you — and getting involved with such middlemen can also taint your application. Register only through legitimate channels, and report anyone demanding payment.
The simple rule
If a trick feels like it exploits the system, the system will eventually catch it. Agencies that grow slowly and cleanly are the ones still earning two years later. Play it straight and the platform actively rewards you for it.
