Getting approved as an agent is the easy part. The real game starts when you need hosts — because without active hosts, there's no commission. Here's the exact playbook our fastest-growing agents use to sign their first 10 hosts, usually within their first month.
1. Start with people you already know
Your first 2–3 hosts almost always come from your own circle. Think about friends, cousins, or colleagues who are already comfortable on camera — people who post reels, do TikTok-style content, or simply love talking. Streaming on Poppo Live is a natural next step for them, and they'll trust you more than a stranger's ad.
2. Mine short-video platforms
Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Moj, and Josh are full of small creators with 1,000–20,000 followers who earn almost nothing from those platforms. These creators are your best prospects: they already stream-ready, but under-monetized. Send a short, respectful DM explaining that Poppo Live pays hosts for live streaming and that you'll handle their onboarding for free.
3. Perfect your 30-second pitch
Don't send paragraphs. A good first message answers three questions fast:
- What is it? "Poppo Live is a live streaming app where hosts earn from gifts."
- What's in it for them? "Hosts earn based on their streaming hours and audience gifts — I'll show you real numbers."
- What do they have to do? "Stream about 1–2 hours a day. I handle registration, targets, and payout questions."
4. Show proof, not promises
New hosts are (rightly) skeptical. Screenshots of real host earnings, payout confirmations, and your own agency dashboard convert far better than big claims. Never exaggerate income — an over-promised host quits within two weeks, and inactive hosts hurt your agency's monthly review.
5. Onboard properly in the first 48 hours
The difference between a host who lasts and one who disappears is the first two days. Walk them through profile setup, explain the hourly targets, help them plan their first streams, and introduce them to PK battles once they're comfortable. A host who gets their first gifts in week one almost never quits.
6. Use sub-agents to multiply
Once you have 5–6 hosts running, recruit a sub-agent in another city or country and teach them this exact playbook. Their hosts count toward your agency's performance, and you earn invite rewards on top. This is how solo agents turn into 30+ host agencies within a few months.
Quick checklist
- 2–3 hosts from your personal network
- Daily DMs to 10–15 small creators on Reels/Shorts
- One proof kit: earnings screenshots + payout proof
- 48-hour onboarding routine for every new host
- First sub-agent once you cross 5 active hosts
